Research Partners

Monarch School for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a chartered nonpublic school in Ohio that provides ideal special education programs for children with ASD. Monarch Teaching Technologies (MTT) closely collaborates with Monarch School and MTT employs several Monarch School Instructors and clinicians.
MTT’s research and development process revolves around real-world observations made at the Monarch SChool and empirical testing or new learning activities with actual students.
Every aspect of the design and development of VizZle is informed by this close collaboration.


Monarch Teaching Technologies is a close collaborator with Children’s Hospital Boston and Dr. Howard Shane, Director of the Center for Communications Disorders at Children’s Hospital Boston. The Center for Communications Disorders at Children’s Hospital Boston is rated the number one hospital for children-related services in the US.
Dr. Shane serves as Monarch Teaching Technologies’ Director of Clinical Support. Dr. Shane was a major influence in the creation of Monarch Teaching Technologies. He and his team have also closely
collaborated on numerous federal grant submissions by Monarch Teaching Technologies.
